“Super yummy and different than the usual.”
Another wrote: “It’s really good. The little crushed pecans on the bottom give it a nice crunch.”
A third said: “I had this cake for my birthday this year… beyond delicious.”
Another jokingly scolded the poster, saying: “Shhh keep the secret…..”
Meanwhile, one commenter wasn’t such a fan, saying: “Too much sugar icing.”
The video, posted on October 9, has so far racked up over 1,700 likes and over 300 shares.
IN THE NEWS
Costco is a wholesale retailer, which operates membership-only warehouse-style stores.
Locations recently have been checking whether people are members using special scanners at their store entrances.
After the scanners were launched in August, customers voiced their frustration over reportedly longer queues.
The store was also in the news lately for an interesting item.
Costco started selling one-ounce bars of solid gold, which quickly sold out.
It also drew controversy after members criticized the retailer’s payment policy.
This was because it doesn’t accept any payment except Visa or Mastercard debit.
Meanwhile, shoppers spotted a “crazy” $200 price hike on the popular King Crab Clusters – on sale for a whopping $549.99.
Costco membership sharing guidelines
Costco has strict rules for membership use that shoppers must follow and they've been cracking down on offenders in recent years.
Primary Member Use: Only the primary cardholder can use this Costco membership card. Sharing it for purchases is not allowed as the photo on the card must match the person using it.
Household Card: Each primary member can add one free household cardholder who lives at the same address. This person will receive their own membership card and can shop at Costco independently.
Guest Policy: Members can bring up to two guests per visit to Costco. However, only the member can make purchases. Guests must be accompanied by the member.
Authorized Cardholder: For an additional fee, you can add an authorized cardholder, such as a family member or friend, who doesn’t reside at your address. They will receive their own card and can shop independently.
