Nation’s No. 3 TE Andrew Olesh previews official visit to Michigan
Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh On300 tight end Andrew Olesh is in Ann Arbor this weekend for his official visit to Michigan.
The Wolverines are one of the top contenders for On3’s No.3 ranked tight end and No. 78 prospect overall.
“For Michigan they’re only recruiting me for tight end right now,” Olesh said. “So I mean that was really like the eye opener and key factor.
“I’m excited to go there. I’ve only been there one time. Going there again is going to get me more comfortable with all the coaches and meeting the players.
“Colston Loveland is going to host me. That’s huge. He’s probably going to go in the first round. (I look forward to) seeing everyone again and getting back on campus.”
Head coach Sherrone Moore and tight ends coach Steve Casula have been leading the charge in recruiting the four-star Olesh.
“Last year Coach Moore he had to take over for Coach Harbaugh and he was winning games,” Olesh said. “It comes to show he can still win games as the head coach which is awesome.
“Another thing about Coach Moore, he’s always texting me and checking up. I have a great relationship with him.”
Michigan currently has eight commitments and On3’s No. 15 ranked recruiting class. Olesh is one of the top targets regardless of position.
Besides the Wolverines, Olesh is also strongly considering Penn State, Alabama and Florida.
