Maxwell's On Main Debuts Summer Ready New Menus In Doylestown
DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Maxwell's On Main (MOM's) is reintroducing itselft this weekend as a casual destination for dining, drinks, delivery, as well as private and social gatherings. The multi-floor historic building at 37 North Main Street has been home to MOM's since 2010 offering a one-of-a-kind experience in Doylestown Borough. With the same team from the start, MOM's is continuing to grow by sharing some of its biggest shifts since opening day.Whether together as a family, for two as a date night, even a bite at the bar or on the go, MOM's new menu is full of refreshing summery options somewhere between here and New Orleans. The team of owners Nate and Ann Hugill, Executive Chef Bobby Marchesano, and manager Dan Moonan have leaned further into their love of American and southern cuisine while emphasizing an approachable price point for a wider spectrum of dining.The Backyard Platter at Mom's. It's time to go back to our roots with a sense of newness." The new dinner menu launches on Saturday, May 18 at 4 p.m.The Backyard Platter headlines these exciting new selections .... and sharing is encouraged. Enjoy the southern picnic feel with a choice of three proteins - smoked pastrami, hot italian or andouille sausage, fried chicken or smoked turkey thighs. All platters come with a side of house pickles, pickled red onion, okra and giardiniera as well as garlic aioli, honey mustard, horseradish, and BBQ sauces. The platters feed two to four guests for $35.Also on the menu, guests can enjoy a wide assortment of sandwiches, burgers (smashed or classic), fried chicken, refreshing salads, and creative entrees such as these standouts — a new vegetarian Hoppin' John or the pickle brined fried pork chop with chimichurri, hoppin' John and collard greens.Dining is not limited to the weekends at MOM's as their kitchen is always open for dinner seven days a week. And for lunch, every day but Monday. These options can now even be enjoyed at home with delivery apps like Toast or DoorDash.The team has also developed a selection of handcrafted cocktails, wines, and a fun beer rotation on draft and in cans for summertime. Patrons can enjoy a tropical Sun Bird cocktail with Lunazul Reposado Tequila, strawberry infused campari, grilled pineapple, gum syrup, lime, mango, rosemary, peach bitters and nutmeg. Or, for the first time in Doylestown, sip a selection of natural wines from Giunta out of New Zealand and Max Barreau of Bordeaux, France.The tropical Sun Bird Cocktail at Mom's. (Maxwell's On Main)Natural wine is a winemaking style that involves minimal intervention in the cellar and uses traditional methods to produce it. The grapes are farmed organically and biodynamically, and fermented - as the name says, naturally. Typically these wines are produced on a small scale with a very unique flavor palate.The next menu set to expand is MOM's Sunday Brunch. Its complimentary bacon and mammoth 32 ounce mimosas are staying, but something very exciting is soon to come. For now, their renowned Sunday Brunch can be enjoyed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.Something about MOM's that never changes is its commitment to community.
