Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson team up in Paris
The NFL stars were out in Paris this week. Bengals QB Joe Burrow and Vikings WR Justin Jefferson were in France for Paris Fashion Week Men’s and Vogue World 2024. The pair shared their thoughts, and plenty of pictures, with Vogue magazine.
“I’ve always loved clothes but never really understood the industry, so I wanted to learn more,” Burrow told Vogue.
Burrow and Jefferson sat in the front row at the Amiri fashion show, toured the Hermes atelier, and ate plenty of French cuisine.
“The lobster and shrimp at L’Avenue is fiiire,” Jefferson said. It was his first time visiting Paris. “There’s a lot of traffic and the way people drive is kinda crazy, but it’s a great city,” Jefferson said, adding that he hopes to be known “as more than just a football player” and was partial to the Amiri show. “I wear Amiri a lot; it’s my style—relaxed and chill.”
Burrow and Jefferson also appeared on the runway at Vogue World 2024.
“I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a person, [and] I think walking in the show is a great way to do that,” says Burrow, who was dressed in a black suit with satin lapels by Peter Do. “I think the crossover between fashion and sport is going to continue to grow.” Participating in the star-studded, fashion-filled night was just as appealing to Jefferson.
“This is my first show,” Jefferson says, “and who wouldn’t want Vogue World to be their first?”
We’ll have to pay extra close attention to Burrow and Jefferson’s pre-game and press conference fits moving forward.
Justin Jefferson among group of NFL WRs to be featured on Netflix’s ‘Receiver’

This isn’t the only offseason news surrounding Justin Jefferson. He is one of five NFL players who will be featured in a new Netflix show.
The show, Receiver, is modeled off the Quarterback show that aired last summer. It is produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and 2PM Productions.
Receiver will feature five NFL athletes: Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
According to a statement from Netflix, the series description states that, “It’s been said that there’s no more difficult position in the NFL than the quarterback. But throwing the pass is only half the story,” the statement reads. “Receiver follows five of the NFL’s best pass catchers throughout the 2023 season on and off the field.”
Jefferson is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, so it makes sense that he would make an appearance on the program.
There are a number of storylines we can expect from Jefferson in the show. Jefferson suffered multiple injuries in 2023, including a hamstring injury that sidelined him for seven games. We can expect to get a detailed look at the recovery process for an NFL receiver, similar to what we saw from Kirk Cousins in Quarterback.
Speaking of Kirk Cousins, we will also see his devastating injury that torpedoed the Vikings’ season. We may even get to see some goodbyes as the team learns that Cousins is leaving Minnesota for free agency.
The show will premiere on Netflix on July 10th.
