The Madrid Open men’s final is here with two unlikely contenders set to duel for the prestigious crown in the Spanish capital.
No.7 seed Andrey Rublev will face unseeded Felix Auger-Aliassime in a showdown to grab glory and a big points hauls for the ATP Rankings.
Auger-Aliassime has reached the final despite playing just six games of tennis – not even a full set – in the last two rounds as Jannik Sinner and Jiri Lehecka withdrew from the competition with injuries in consecutive rounds.
