Amid international conflicts, President Donald Trump took to social media to share his thoughts concerning another world leader. The president shared that different stories are being shared about what’s going on on the world stage. Trump also shared what he felt was needed next for international relations.
President Donald Trump Shared The Post Through The Truth Social Platform
Truth Social is a social networking platform that is owned by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). President Donald Trump had been one of the service’s founders.
The president himself has often shared posts on the platform. In fact, he shared the inaugural post in early 2022. Recently, Trump took to the platform to discuss another current political figure.

During a post shared on June 27, 2025, Trump discussed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei has served as the supreme leader of Iran since 1989. He is currently the longest-serving head of state in the Middle East and one of the longest-running Iranian leaders in the modern era.
Trump’s post opened up by noting, “Why would the so-called “Supreme Leader,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of the war torn Country of Iran, say so blatantly and foolishly that he won the War with Israel, when he knows his statement is a lie, it is not so.”
Trump’s comments come out following Khamenei issuing a warning that Iran would respond to U.S. attacks by targeting American military bases in the Middle East. As shared by Time, the Iranian leader shared, “The Islamic Republic slapped America in the face. It attacked one of the important American bases in the region.”
The president continued in his post, “As a man of great faith, he is not supposed to lie.” This was likely in reference to Khamenei’s role as a cleric.
The president shared that he felt that his actions ultimately saved Khamenei’s life. He continued, “His Country was decimated, his three evil Nuclear Sites were OBLITERATED, and I knew EXACTLY where he was sheltered, and would not let Israel, or the U.S. Armed Forces, by far the Greatest and Most Powerful in the World, terminate his life.”
Trump Also Shared What He Felt Was Needed Next For The World Stage
Trump continued that he saved the leader from “death, and he does not have to say, “THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP!” Later in the post, Trump added, “Instead, I get hit with a statement of anger, hatred, and disgust, and immediately dropped all work on sanction relief, and more.”
The president continued, “In fact, in the final act of the War, I demanded that Israel bring back a very large group of planes, which were heading directly to Tehran. The president wrote that “Many Iranians would have been killed. It was going to be the biggest attack of the War, by far.”
The U.S. president also shared what he felt must happen next for the Middle East. He shared, “Iran has to get back into the World Order flow, or things will only get worse for them.” He concluded the post, writing, “I wish the leadership of Iran would realize that you often get more with HONEY than you do with VINEGAR. PEACE!!!”
