New Residents Invited To 'Welcome To Darien' Event
DARIEN, CT —The Community Fund of Darien is hosting a "Welcome to Darien" gathering on Thursday, June 6, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Mather Homestead. This event is for residents who moved to Darien from January of 2020 until now. Due to the pandemic, The Community Fund of Darien discovered that many new neighbors didn’t have the opportunity to establish ties to Darien.The event is an opportunity to create connections, meet fellow Darien newcomers and get to know the town that residents hold dear. Guests will hear from current residents who will share their cherished spots and stories, giving guests a glimpse into what makes Darien such a special place to call home.This is a free event; spaces are limited; early registration is encouraged.
