Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Driver In Metro Detroit: Police

ASH TOWNSHIP, MI — A Canton Township man was killed early Thursday morning after he was hit by a car in Monroe County, according to police.Police said the 28-year-old Canton Township man was walking in the roadway on Will Carleton Road near Port Creek in Ash Township at 4:35 a.m. when he was hit by a black Lincoln that was driven by a 38-year-old man from Willis.The Canton man was killed in the incident, according to police.Police do not believe alcohol played a factor in the crash.No other details were released.Police were still investigating the incident and asked anyone with information to call Michigan State Police at 734-242-3500.The article Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Driver In Metro Detroit: Police appeared first on Dearborn, MI Patch.
