Coronation Street cast share wholesome pictures as they bring their kids to work

Coronation Street stars treated their loved ones to an exclusive tour of the cobbles over the weekend.
While the majority of soap stars dressed to the nines during yesterday’s BAFTA television awards, some of the Corrie cast took to Instagram and shared posts of loved ones joining them on set.
Alan Halsall, who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs, posed with daughter Sienna-Rae outside Webster’s autocentre.
While Billy Mayhew actor Daniel Brocklebank smiled for the cameras alongside partner Jordan Coulthard outside his soap character’s flat.
Jordan captioned this post: ‘A picture on a fictional street outside the fictional flat in which my real life partner’s fictional character lives with his fictional husband and fictional daughter. This is real life.’
This comes after Corrie actor Antony Cotton reacted to the soap not being nominated for this year’s BAFTA television award.

Despite not picking up best soap this year, it has won seven times in the past and during its almost 64 year history, Coronation Street has picked up a wealth of accolades which are proudly displayed at their studios in Trafford, Greater Manchester.
Last month, John Whiston, managing director of continuing dramas and head of ITV in the North released a statement following backlash surrounding darker storylines.
‘Coronation Street is, and always has been, a mixture of characters you love, earthy humour and stories that matter such as the current Liam bullying storyline or the Lauren grooming storyline’ he began.
‘The show is proud to explore important contemporary issues such as these and our audience research shows that viewers really appreciate these stories and believe we deal with them in an engaging but responsible way.
‘Which is why Coronation Street continues to be the most-watched soap on British TV.’
