Riteish Deshmukh To Make Web Series Debut With Drama Pill, Here's When It Will Release
Riteish Deshmukh is headlining the web series Pill, which will be premiered on Jio Cinema from July 12. The drama is produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies and created by Raj Kumar Gupta. The actor plays a whistleblower who exposes wrongdoing in the show set in the pharma world. PICS Go Viral Riteish Deshmukh's upcoming projectsThe actor has a busy first half of July as two of his projects are releasing on the same day. The comedy film Kakuda, also co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, will be premiering on Zee5 from July 12, just like Pill. Deshmukh has the feature films Visfot and Raid 2 in the pipeline as well. In Sanjay Gupta's Visfot, he will be acting with Fardeen Khan; he joins Ajay Devgn in the action sequel Raid 2. In 2022, he made his directorial debut with the Marathi film Ved. The film is a remake of the 2019 Telugu drama Majili with starred Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Ved featured Riteish opposite his wife Genelia Deshmukh and Jiya Shankar. Salman Khan also had a cameo in the film. He produced Ved under his own production house named Mumbai Film Company and plans to release at least three films in a year in Marathi.
