JEOPARDY! fans have begged host Ken Jennings to grow a mustache, but others reminded them of what he looked like when he used to have one.

On Saturday, a fan posted to Reddit that “Ken Jennings should post a mustache.”
“I think it would be a fine tribute,” they added.
The tribute is in reference to Alex Trebek, who rocked a mustache when he was younger.
However, one fan said that they were “not so sure” and shared a photo of the host when he did have a mustache.
In 2019, Ken, 50, shared a photo to his X, formerly Twitter, account, of his old license.
“Gettin late on a Friday night, time for some ADULT tweets,” he captioned the post.
Just his photo was shown on the old card.
Ken had his usual blonde hair, which appeared bedridden.
He also had a slight mustache, which was bare in the middle, and a scraggly mustache.
‘BIG DIFFERENCE’
“I’m not so sure,” one fan said, while sharing the throwback picture.
To that, Reddit users replied calling the photo “peak 90s.”
“Not sure about the stache, but that chin hair is peak 90s,” they wrote.
“He was definitely blasting some Spin Doctors in his ride,” a fan replied.
“Well, 30 years is a big difference,” said another fan.
Jeopardy! Host Timeline
Jeopardy! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts after the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are all of the hosts since the game show's inception in 1964.
Art Fleming – 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.
Alex Trebek – 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted Jeopardy!’s modern iteration for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.
Guest hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested out a series of guest hosts for week or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton, and Aaron Rodgers.
Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for one week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.
Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.
Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the longest-winning contestant ever) joined Mayim as a guest host and they split hosting duties.
Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a lengthy hiatus, having stood with the writer’s strike, and Ken was named sole host.
Ken now helms all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the nightly show, and other primetime specials like Masters.
One fan also shared a photo of Ken pointing to his blue shirt that had the Jeopardy! font on it.
“This game show host needs to grow back his b***hin’ mustache,” it read.
“How would we be able to tell him and his evil twin apart?” another fan asked.
“Ew no. Anyone who can actually pull it off is just an exception,” a Reddit user said.
KEN’S CANDOR
Ken answered some behind the scenes questions on Friday.
He responded to fans’ questions in an Instagram video.
Ken answered what his favorite pasta shape was and what his favorite wrong answer was.
Another fan asked him if he would ever grow a mustache like Alex did.
“I feel like you can’t compete with Alex in any arena, but mustache least of all,” he said.
“I have an old driver’s license photo from college where I do have a straggly mustache and it’s a bad one.”
Alex died on November 8, 2020, at the age of 80, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
