Ashley “Deadeye” Jones might have left Swamp People after five seasons, but she often keeps up with fans. Recently, on social media, Jones shared a few new additions to her family in a video. Notably, this also comes out as she’s been sharing a few family stories with fans.
Ashley Jones First Appeared On History’s Swamp People Back In Season 10
Swamp People is a History series that revolves around alligator hunters living in Louisiana, hunting along the Atchafalaya River Basin. Often on the series, gator hunting is shown to be a family business.
One gator hunter fans got to know through the show was Ashley Jones. First appearing in the tenth season, she was based in Belle River. Thanks to her targeting skills, she famously earned the nickname, “Deadeye.”

However, Jones left the series around the fifteenth season. Despite this, she has still kept fans updated about her life on social media.
Outside of gator hunting, Ashley has also been known for running a law firm. Her husband, Chad Jones, is notably an attorney. Together, they already share three children together.
On social media, Ashley recently had exciting news to share with fans, just ahead of the Easter holiday. As she shared, “Our newest little additions! TURKEYS! Happy Palm Sunday!”
Fans Shared Their Reactions To Seeing Jones’ Surprise In The Comments
In the accompanying video, a tank could be seen holding a collection of baby turkeys. The hatchlings were bathed in red light, which helps to keep the baby birds warm and calm. Jones did not speak in the video. However, the baby turkeys could be heard “chirping.”
Taking to the comments, many fans were impressed with Ashley’s recent news. As one fan noted, “Oh my…I want some! I’m a collector of all things turkey!” Another fan also joked, “DINNER!!!!!! In 2 years lol,” presumably having Easter dinner on the mind.
As previously reported, Ashley also recently shared some ongoing stories with her family on the platform. Recently, she had asked fans for their prayers after her grandmother was undergoing a procedure. In an update, she shared, “Good news. My grandmother was able to get her procedure done laparoscopically! Prayers answered!”
“Y’all are the best! Thank you! She out of surgery and resting! She loves the attention, so I’ll show her these posts later!”
In a later update, Jones also shared a larger update concerning multiple members of her family. She shared, ” Another hospital visit and another prayers please post. My daughter tore her rotator cuff while swimming competitively. My grandmother is healing from stomach surgery but doing great. The puppy is getting better. Vet bills aren’t fun.”
“Chad is having a heart procedure soon and I’m going to be sick I’m so nervous! Whew it’s been a week!!!! Y’all have a great weekend!”
