According to TJ’s website, these little guys are made with a “pumpkin-spiced shortbread dough” to offer a “crunchy and crispy and crumbly” bite. They are also decorated for the season, coated with white or orange icing, providing different warm flavors. The white coating is made of yogurt, so it has more of a tangy taste, while the cookies doused in orange will offer a hint of pumpkin spice.To finish things off, each cookie is topped with decorative confectionery nonpareils for added texture and sweetness. While the orange cookies are dotted with white nonpareils, the white cookies are embellished in orange.Last year, when these cookies reappeared in Trader Joe's stores, people took to Reddit to express their love for these cookies with the original post saying, “These are so good,” and that they have a “similar texture to circus animal crackers.”Others responded with comments like, “I agree! They are so good!” and “Yeah! I’m a fan,” while one said it was “Good to see” that these were back after looking for them in the store.
