NEW YORK CITY — A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged after he stabbed a 19-year-old man in the neck near City Hall in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday, police said. Marvin Dupree has been charged with attempted murder and felony assault, police announced. The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday outside the city’s municipal building at 1 Centre St, Patch previously reported. The suspect allegedly came up behind the victim and stabbed him in the lower neck and upper back, police said. The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, police said.Dupree was apprehended in Harlem by police following the incident.
