Madison Looks To Fill Dozens Of Positions On Town Boards And Commissions

MADISON, CT — Currently, there are 25 vacant positions on Madison town boards and commissions, prompting officials to put out another call for volunteers to serve on them."We’re looking for dedicated residents who are passionate about their community to volunteer for current and upcoming vacancies on various Boards and Commissions," First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons wrote in a recent Community Update. "We have over 40 active boards and commissions that serve a wide range of interests, composed of residents who want to be an active part in improving our community."A list of town government groups with openings can be viewed here. Some of the positions require approval by the Madison Republican Town Committee or the Madison Democratic Town Committee.To apply, you must be a Madison resident; to view the application, click here.
