Penn State commit Bekkem Kritza and teammate headed back to Happy Valley this weekend
Penn State’s list of expected visitors for this upcoming weekend continues to grow. After traveling north to State College just a few weeks ago to participate in the Elite 11 Regional, future Nittany Lion quarterback Bekkem Kritza will once again fly north this weekend to spend time with the staff. Not only will he be on campus starting tomorrow, but Kritza plans to camp with the staff Sunday before heading back down to Miami.
However, Kritza isn’t the only notable 2025 prospect from Miami Central making the trip. Wide receiver Kha’leal Sterling confirmed that he’s also flying north to spend time on campus. Checking in around 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, Sterling has earned a handful of Power Four offers over the past year. That list includes Arkansas, Arizona State, Indiana, Oregon, Pitt and West Virginia, as well as a host of Group of Five schools. As of now, Sterling doesn’t have any official visits lined up for June.

Kritza does have an official visit locked in with Penn State for June 14-16, but he wouldn’t be allowed to camp with the staff that weekend due to NCAA rules. It also helps that he’ll be on campus the same weekend one of his close friends and 7-on-7 teammate, wide receiver Corey Simms, takes an official visit. Simms is one of three wide receivers taking an official visit this upcoming weekend, joining Lex Cyrus and Quincy Porter.
While most of Sunday’s camp will be made up of 2026 and 2027 prospects, we expect a few other notable 2025 prospects to be in attendance. That includes another future Nittany Lion, athlete Brady O’Hara. The Pittsburgh native has focused on playing tight end at multiple camps this spring but many believe he’ll grow into an offensive tackle down the road. We’ll be curious to see what position Penn State has him focus on come Sunday.
Wide receiver Qeanu Johnson and safety Axavier Bridges-Brooks are also worth keeping an eye on.
Johnson camped with the Nittany Lion coaching staff last July and put up some solid testing numbers, including a 4.4-second 40-yard dash. The Hamden Hall prospect was then offered by the Nittany Lions in December and has totaled four visits to Penn State since July 2023. His most recent visit was in April for the Blue-White Game. Rutgers (June 7-9), Syracuse (June 14-16) and Duke (June 21-23) all have official visits locked in for later this month.
Bridges-Brooks has also visited a lot over the past year. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back has earned nearly 20 scholarship offers dating back to Oct. 2022. As of now, he has just one official visit set to UConn for June 14-16.
