“First impressions? Blizzard cooked”: Diablo 4 Gets a Rare Win with Season 4 Hailed as a Gamechanger
Season 4 of Diablo 4 has received another wave of updates, and people have had their expectations blown out of the water.
The game is receiving non-stop praise from players for the way it has revamped the loot systems, changed player interaction, and made the game all the more interesting and engaging from the start. Blizzard took a big risk by releasing an update overhauling many aspects of the game, and it certainly paid off.
Blizzard Knocks It Out of the Park with Diablo 4’s New Season
The praise doesn’t end for Diablo 4‘s latest season updates
X/Twitter has been on fire since the release of Diablo 4‘s fourth season on March 14th this year. The game is receiving waves of praise for the new changes that have made it a lot more fun and less like a non-stop grind to the end.
Spent the evening on Diablo 4, familiarising myself with the new Season.
First impressions? Blizzard cooked.

“Blizzard cooked” seems to be the popular sentiment around the new season. The massive update contained a slew of balancing changes that affected a ton of aspects across the game.
SUGGESTEDDiablo 4 is Bigger and Better on Xbox than it Ever Was on PC According to Leaked Emails
One reply under X/Twitter user PeterP_85’s post mentioned how the new overworld bosses were great, helping them level a new character to level 20 in just an hour.
Had a great time tonight on D4 Season 4. This has been a huge improvement to the quality of life of the game. Taking on bosses and challenges before max lv

Class changes seem to be one of the biggest ones, with minion necromancers gaining a substantial boost after previously being considered one of the weaker builds in the game. Following the update, more people have been trying out the necro class.

As you can see, the reviews have been raving about it. Blizzard going back to fix core systems and make the game fun for new and veteran players seems to have been the right move to bring life back to the game and motivate players once more.
Season 4’s Itemization System Revolutionizes the Game
The update focuses on streamlining things for players, allowing for more focus on action
While class, level progression, bosses, and other systems were changed for the better, the new Diablo 4 update’s highlight is definitely the new itemization system.
The company aimed to make it easier for players to identify valuable item upgrades. One of the biggest adjustments is the reduction in the number of affixes on items. Legendary items will now have three affixes, while Rare items will have two.
First impressions of the new @Diablo season:
Feels a LOT better so far.Helltides are actually fun now.The stress/annoyance of affixes is totally gone now. It's so nice just having everything in the codex.Feel like I have a lot more influence over itemization now.

Instead of complex, conditional bonuses, players will now find more direct improvements such as increased Movement Speed, Max Life, or single ranks of Core Skills.
SUGGESTEDDiablo 4 Drops on Xbox Game Pass with 1 New Much-Needed Feature, But PC Users Won’t be Happy all the Same
The update also reduced the number of item drops from slain monsters, focusing on quality over quantity. This means you will spend less time sorting through loot, and more time in combat.
Hit level 100 in Diablo 4's new Season! First time hitting 100 within 24 hours of Season Launch. Really awesome leveling changes and the gear and itemization reworks made leveling a lot more interesting. Ggs

Plus, the Gold cost for re-rolling items when enchanting now has a cap, and the material requirements for activities at the Blacksmith have been reduced.
These are just a few of the incredible changes that Blizzard has made. The revamp goes to show that the Diablo 4 staff know their game well, and are willing to hear out the feedback from their players. Hopefully, the game continues in this direction.
