Woman Catches Snake Eating Her Pet, Here’s What Happens Next
Don’t mess with Katie Lowdon’s pets. As she was talking on the phone to her dad, Lowdon walked onto her porch in Washington state and saw something terrible was going down. A snake was eating her “frog buddy,” which has been hanging around her porch for three years. In fact, the snake had the frog in its mouth. What happens next is surprising and hilarious. Her Ring doorbell camera caught the scene on video, and it’s gone viral on TikTok.
Lowdon didn’t hesitate to take action once she realized what the snake had in its mouth. Though she was wearing sandals, she stomped on the snake, forcing it to drop the frog and leave. She managed to save her frog, Kermit, from the snake, and Kermit wasn’t even injured.
It’s watching Lowdon’s reaction in realtime that makes this video viral material. At one point, she says, “There was a snake on my porch eating my frog, dad!” And it’s all in the delivery.

@katie.lowdon I walked out to my frog buddy who has lived on our porch for over three years, in the mouth of a snake. So of course I thought it would be a great idea to step on the snake with sandals on but hey at least it worked! #fyp #foryou #frog #kermit #snakeattack #mommabear ♬ original sound – katie.lowdon
Lowdon has provided a couple of updates on the frog on her TikTok account. It seems like Kermit is doing just fine after his terrifying ordeal.
