Originally dropped in 2014, this high-top silhouette is more than just a response to Kobe’s Achilles injury, as often believed. The festive red hue and the nine embroidered lines on the heel—representing Bryant’s Achilles sutures—pay homage to his resilience and drive.
While the retro edition remains under wraps, for now, the sneaker community is eagerly awaiting its debut.
