Sewerage Commission Re-Elects Tucci, Quintana At Annual Meeting
NEWARK, NJ — The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC) re-elected Thomas Tucci Jr. as chair and Luis Quintana as vice chair at the board’s annual reorganization meeting this week.Commissioner Elizabeth Calabrese was re-elected as board treasurer, and Albert Lukin was re-appointed as the clerk to the board. Commissioners John Cosgrove, James Doran, Joseph Isola, Hector Lora and Brendan Murphy, as well as several members of the PVSC management team, were also present at the virtual meeting.Quintana, who has served as chair since 2018 and has been a commissioner since 2015, said it’s a “tremendous honor” to continue in his position. The sentiment was shared by Tucci, who has been a PVSC commissioner since 2014 and has held the position of chair since 2015.“I’m excited to continue working with our dedicated group of Commissioners, our diligent leadership team, and our outstanding employees,” Tucci said.“Working together, our personnel have done an amazing job helping the agency operate the fifth largest wastewater treatment facility in the United States on a 24/7/365 basis,” Tucci added. “I am extremely honored to continue serving alongside all of them.”Calabrese has served as a commissioner since 2015, Doran and Isola have served as commissioners since 2017, and Cosgrove, Lora and Murphy have served as commissioners since 2019.Send local news tips and correction requests to [email protected].
