NASCAR releases finalized 2025 Cup Series schedule
NASCAR has released the finalized Cup Series schedule for 2025 at last. After much deliberation, the powers that be have come to an exciting conclusion.
Of course, the season will officially begin with the Daytona 500 on Feb. 16, 2025. It’ll be the 67th running of The Great American Race, but that’s only the start of a raucous schedule. Additionally, Daytona will return to its spot as the final race of the regular season, rather than Darlington’s Southern 500.
Check out the full schedule below, released by NASCAR, and start making plans for the most exhilarating tracks that the Cup Series will be heading to next season.

NASCAR is once again going back-to-back with superspeedways to start the season, Daytona to Atlanta. There have been changes, though. Homestead-Miami now moves into March and out of the postseason. The off week for Easter is a welcomed change.
The biggest changes are having Bowman Gray Stadium hosting The Clash, racing in Mexico City, and the various playoff changes. Richmond loses a date to Mexico City as part of the 2025 schedule too, but still has one race.

NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs get shuffled around
When it comes to the NASCAR Playoffs, the order of races and even a couple of new additions are once again changing things up. The postseason will look very different in 2025 than it does now.
Homestead-Miami is out, Watkins Glen is out after just a year, and Atlanta is out with the second date falling in the summer.
Darlington moves back to the first race of the Round of 16. Gateway is now the second race of the first round. Then the Round of 12 opens with New Hampshire, a big change. Finally, Talladega has now moved to the second race in the Round of 8, making the Championship 4 battle that much more intense.
The schedule was slowly released over the last few weeks. Bowman Gray was announced and then Mexico City was announced. With all of the rumors and leaks, this schedule looks more or less how everyone expected. Which race are you most excited about?
