Quavo and Offset Reconnect After Rich Homie Quan’s Passing: “Good Convo With My Bro”
Quavo and Offset are continuing to take steps towards rebuilding their friendship after the sudden loss of Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan on Thursday. The two members of Migos have had their differences in recent years, but the tragic news appears to have sparked a fresh effort to move forward together.
Quavo and Offset’s relationship has been a bit strained since 2022, with Quavo previously hinting at some tension related to Offset. The passing of their fellow Migos member, TakeOff, also made things more complicated. However, in recent months, the two have shown signs of making peace, and it looks like they’re taking more steps in that direction.
Following Rich Homie Quan’s passing Thursday, Quavo shared a few throwback pictures of Migos and Quan on his Instagram Stories, reflecting on better days. Fans noticed the heartbroken emoji above Offset’s head in one of the photos.

While their relationship has been rocky, it’s clear that both rappers have been trying to repair their bond. Earlier this year, Offset publicly wished Quavo a happy birthday on Instagram, writing, “Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L,” showing that they still have respect for each other.
There was even a rumor about a backstage fight between the two at the 2023 Grammy Awards, but Offset quickly shut down those claims, tweeting, “What tf look like fighting my brother yal n-ggas is crazy.” He also clarified during an interview on The Breakfast Club, saying, “That’s my brother at the end of the day. But we good, though. We were just with each other in Paris. We be talking ’cause we be going through little emotions with this, and it don’t be for the public.”
Quavo also spoke about their relationship during an interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game: “I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other … We went through something. We don’t have to show you n-ggas smiles and faces, so stop doing that. We ain’t on no sucker shit with each other. We both came in this together, and we both knew that, we understood that, and we lost our brother.”
As the hip-hop community mourns another loss, this update brings a bit of light.
