Jake Paul endorses Trump for president
By David Spector
Boxer Jake Paul has endorsed former President Donald Trump for president, in an 18-minute video posted to his X account.
Paul urged his followers to do their own research and not just blindly follow his endorsement, but went on to say he believes Trump did a better job in office than the Biden-Harris administration.
"Regardless of your emotion, I'm just presenting you with facts," the athlete said after presenting a chart that showed energy, food and rent prices were lower during the 45th president's term.
Trump previously appeared on Paul's brother Logan's YouTube show, where he gifted him a T-shirt with his mugshot on it.

Here’s why Trump is rallying in Albuquerque, inside deep-blue New Mexico — the most Hispanic state
By Josh Christenson
Former President Donald Trump will be courting voters in the most Hispanic US state after the dust-up from his Madison Square Garden rally speaker's criticism of Puerto Ricans.
Trump, 78, will touch down in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday to shore up his support, particularly from Latino men.
At his Manhattan campaign event in Madison Square Garden, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe got dinged for calling Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage," prompting backlash from immigrants in the US and the loss of some endorsements for the Trump campaign.

But public polling has shown that a majority of Hispanics are amenable to Trump's mass deportation plan and border enforcement proposals.
Though Democrats have a trifecta in New Mexico, the state's economy is driven in part by oil and gas jobs in the energy sector.
Trump has campaigned on loosening regulations for fossil fuel producers and hit Vice President Kamala Harris for her past opposition to fracking in the US.

Safety vest-wearing Vivek Ramaswamy calls Biden's 'garbage' dig at Trump supporters a 'turning point'
By David Spector
Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy — sporting a yellow safety vest — said President Biden's labeling of Donald Trump supporters as "garbage" was "disgusting and un-American" and represents a "turning point in this election."
"The way they look down at half the country, it's disgusting, it's un-American, but it doesn't have to stay that way," Ramaswamy said.
"The fact that Biden came out and said that was a turning point in this election."
The biotech entrepreneur, who arrived at the Trump campaign stop in North Carolina on the back of a garbage truck, went on to say, "We don't have to stay this country where you're afraid to speak your mind anymore."

Joe Rogan says he gave Harris ‘open invitation’ to sit down anytime: ‘I’ll do it at midnight if she’s up’
By Emily Crane
Joe Rogan says he gave Vice President Kamala Harris an “open opportunity” to sit down with him anytime in his Texas podcast studio — insisting, “I’ll do it at midnight if she’s up.”
The mega-popular podcaster on Wednesday defended his decision to reject a Harris interview based on the ground rules that the Democratic presidential candidate tried to impose — including limiting the time and potentially having her handlers in the room.
“She had an opportunity to come,” Rogan said when the saga came up during the latest episode of his “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.
“You could look at this and you can say, ‘Oh, you’re being a diva,’ but she had an opportunity to come here when she was in Texas — and I literally gave them an open invitation.”

GOP-led House panel rips FTC Chair Lina Khan, says agency has become ‘political tool’ in election
By Ryan King
The House Oversight Committee is calling for Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan to be replaced, accusing her of infusing the powerful agency with “left-wing ideology” and allowing it to be used as a “political tool” for Democrats as the 2024 presidential election comes to a head.

The GOP-led panel ripped the 35-year-old US regulator — who became the youngest FTC chair in the agency’s history in 2021 — for overseeing a “sweeping destruction of agency norms” as it warned against renewing her tenure in a scathing, 59-page report on Thursday.
In addition to concerns about unfair policing of mergers that has penalized US companies and instead helped do the bidding of EU regulators, Republicans on the Oversight Committee said Khan has allowed the agency to pursue partisan politics on behalf of Democrats.

Kamala Harris says she’s ‘not looking to score political points’ as president
By Victor Nava

Vice President Kamala Harris insisted Wednesday that she won’t be “looking to score political points” if elected president.
“I pledge to seek common ground and common-sense solutions to the challenges you face,” she told her supporters in Madison, Wis. “I am not looking to score political points. I am looking to make progress.”
“And I pledge to listen to experts, to those who will be impacted by the decisions I make and to people who disagree with me,” Harris said.
The vice president argued that former President Donald Trump, if elected, would not follow the same course.
“Unlike Donald Trump, I don't believe people who disagree with me are the enemy,” Harris said. “He wants to put them in jail. I'll give them a seat at my table.”

Puerto Rican veteran rips 'bumbling idiot' Biden for calling Trump supporters 'garbage'
By Ethan Dodd
BEDFORD, Pa. – A Puerto Rican woman trashed President Biden for calling Donald Trump supporters “garbage” after she attended a JD Vance rally at a rural airport in southwestern Pennsylvania.
“Biden is a bumbling idiot – point-blank. He starts talking and then garbage literally flies out of his mouth,” Jessie Anderson told The Post.
Biden gaffed Tuesday that Trump supporters are “the only garbage I see floating out there” in response to a comedian calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.
Though Anderson said the Trump-supporting podcast host Tony Hinchcliffe was “insulting,” she did not blame the former president.
Instead, she blamed Biden for slandering Trump supporters, whom Hillary Clinton called a “basket of deplorables” before she lost the 2016 election to Trump.
“We live in a democratic nation, one where there are multiple parties. Why are you going to resort to name-calling and isolating another party?” Anderson said.
The latest polls show Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris statistically tied in the race for president.
“The Democratic Party is now a party of division, they’re dividing the United States. They’re inciting violence. They’re inciting hate. We cannot have that in our nation. We are one nation under God.”

Whom is Trump World crediting for trashman triumph?

From trash to treasure.
That's one way to look at Donald Trump's garbageman tribute in Green Bay on Thursday.
But whose brilliant idea was it?
Depends on whom you ask.
One plugged-in Trump World source told The Post "many will claim credit" for the sanitation-engineer tribute, but "all the good ideas are from DJT."
Another one described the cleanup concept as "groupthink."
Whatever the case, the candidate has an unforgettable visual to counter President Biden's garbage gaffe.
And just as was the case with Trump's McDonald's moment, the camera-friendly cosplay leaves Kamala Harris and Tim Walz without an effective counter.

Former President Donald Trump brought his new “Make America Great Again” garbage truck to his Green Bay, Wis., rally on Wednesday and was wearing an orange safety vest when he took the stage.
“I have to begin by saying, 250 million Americans are not garbage,” Trump told the crowd, referring to President Biden’s recent controversial remark about the former president’s supporters.
“This week, Kamala [Harris] has been comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history. And now, speaking on a call for her campaign last night, Crooked Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think of our supporters — he called them ‘garbage,’” the Republican nominee continued.
“My supporters are far higher quality than Crooked Joe or Lyin’ Kamala,” Trump added, arguing that “you can't lead America if you don't love Americans.”

Trump supporters at Vance rally embrace Biden 'garbage' label: 'We're deplorables too'
By Ethan Dodd
BEDFORD, Pa. – The Donald Trump supporters at a JD Vance rally in southwestern Pennsylvania owned their new "honorary title” of “garbage” – but wished America wasn’t so divided.
“We’re garbage. This whole room is full of garbage. We’re deplorables too,” Dennis Barber, a business owner from Bedford, told The Post with a sarcastic smile.
At a Vance rally in Pennsylvania, Trump voters said they were honored to be "garbage."
Ethan Dodd / NY Post
“But we’re proud of it.”
Over 2,000 Trump supporters have packed into an airplane hangar in rural Bedford County, which went 83.5% for Trump in 2020. They wore their 2024 support with pride after President Biden labeled Trump supporters “the only garbage I see floating out there” in response to a comedian calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.
“I think it’s an honor to be called garbage by such evil. It’s like an honorary title, like deplorables,” said Chrissy, from Altoona, Pa., who hopes vendors make T-shirts.
But other Trump supporters said Biden disrespected them and their vote, especially given how Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are neck and neck in Pennsylvania.
“The [Biden] administration is acting like we’re throwaways,” said Rachel Davison, a photographer.
“Especially in Pennsylvania,” her daughter, Hannah Davison, cut in. “I think people are realizing how important Pennsylvania is.”
The Keystone State’s 19 electoral votes decided the 2016 and 2020 elections for Trump and Biden, respectively.

Republicans probe White House transcript on Biden's 'garbage' comments

Two House Republicans are investigating the White House's release of a transcript of President Biden's "garbage" comment that ignited fury among conservatives.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) inked a letter to the White House Counsel Wednesday demanding the administration preserve internal documents surrounding the transcript.

After Biden's remark that "the only garbage I see floating out there is his [Donald Trump's] supporters," the White House dropped a transcript claiming that there was an apostrophe in "supporters."
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter’s — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American,” the transcript read.
White House flacks used that transcript to claim that the president was referring to Trump supporters, but rather "hateful" rhetoric that had been spewed at the Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday.

Pennsylvania voters react to Biden's 'garbage' comment : 'Perfect timing' for Trump

PENNSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania Republicans told The Post they were not happy with President Joe Biden's comment calling supporters of Donald Trump "garbage."
Logan Dubil, a 23-year-old political content creator from Lansdale, said Biden's comment was a big miscalculation that came at the "perfect" time for Trump.

Final pre-election poll of Wisconsin likely voters shows race tightening, Harris' advantage drops from 4 points to 1 point lead
By Amy Sikma
WATERTOWN, Wis. — In a final, pre-election poll, Wisconsin's Marquette Law School Poll saw a tightening in the presidential race as Harris' lead among likely voters fell from 4 points to 1 point, with Harris at 50% to Trump's 49%.
In late September Harris led by 52% to Trump's 48% among likely voters. Both month's differences are within the poll's margin of error, +/-4.4 percentage points.
Democratic enthusiasm ticked up from September's poll (75%, up from 71%) while Republican enthusiasm stayed virtually the same, dropping by one point (66%, down from 67%).
During the poll's release, Pollster Charles Franklin said the enthusiasm levels track those from 2020 and could indicate Wisconsin's record 2020 turnout might be replicated on election day.
Those planning to vote in person on election day or early in-person favored Trump (56% and 52% respectively), while those voting absentee favored Harris by a large margin (70% to 30%).
A breakdown of group polling shows a considerable age gap (26 points), giving Trump a 12 percentage point gap with men and Harris a 14-point gap with women. The poll's gap is actually smaller than in the 2016 election, and slightly larger than in the 2020 election.

“In the heat of the campaign season, workers working long hours simply made a copy-editing mistake,” Clymer said in a statement.
AllVote has been accused of election dirty tricks in the past, with Pennsylvania election officials claiming it previously sent texts to voters falsely claiming they were not registered in a scheme to "capture personal, sensitive information from voters in an attempt to exploit them later on.”
Clymer did not confirm how many voters received this text.

Politico slammed for allegedly altering Biden's 'garbage' dig at Trump supporters
By David Spector
Politico is being slammed online as critics claim the outlet altered President Biden's quote in which he called Donald Trump supporters "garbage."
"Biden in a Zoom call with the organization Voto Latino, said the 'only garbage' was the 'hatred' of Trump supporters who said such things about American citizens," a post on Politico's election live blog allegedly said, according to a screenshot provided by Trump running mate JD Vance.
"The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters," Biden had said in the call.
The official White House transcript placed an apostrophe into the word "supporter's" and the president claimed he was referring to roast comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.
"Do @JonLemire @alexanderburns @politico have an ounce of integrity? Will they correct this obvious falsehood?" Vance wrote in a post on X.
"This is Orwellian," posted popular conservative influencer Libs of TikTok.
"This is mindboggling. Politico rewrote the Biden quote," "Dilbert" creator Scott Adams said.
Politico has since issued a correction for the quote.

Arnold Schwarzenegger endorses Kamala Harris
By Diana Glebova
Arnold Schwarzenegger announced his endorsement of Kamala Harris on Wednesday.
The "Terminator" star and Republican former California governor said he doesn't "like" any party, but that he's still going with Harris.
"Rejecting the results of an election is as un-American as it gets. To someone like me who talks to people all over the world and still knows America is the shining city on a hill, calling America is a trash can for the world is so unpatriotic, it makes me furious," he wrote on X in a lengthy statement.
"And I will always be an American before I am a Republican. That’s why, this week, I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz."

Buzz Aldrin 'wholeheartedly' endorses Donald Trump
By Ryan King
This endorsement is getting some buzz.
Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, is giving former President Donald Trump his official stamp of approval.
"Over time, I have seen our government’s approach to space wax and wane. But under the first Trump Administration, I was impressed to see how human space exploration was elevated as a policy of high importance again," the 94-year-old former astronaut wrote on X.
Aldrin listed several accomplishments such as the reinstitution of the National Space Council, the formation of the US Space Force and private-sector gains with space technology.
"For me, for the future of our country, to meet enormous challenges, and for the proven policy accomplishments above, I believe we are best served by voting for @realDonaldTrump. I wholeheartedly endorse him for President of the United States," he added.

"First of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for," she told reporters at Joint Base Andrews Wednesday.
"You heard in my speech last night and continuously throughout my career, I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people whether they support me or not," she added.
"As president of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans whether you vote for me or not."
Biden has since walked back his comment and the White House claimed that he meant to refer to the "hateful" rhetoric from Tony Hinchcliffe about Puerto Rico, rather than former President Donald Trump's supporters broadly.

CNN panelist says Biden called Trump supporters 'garbage' because he has a stutter
By David Spector
During a roundtable discussing the election, a CNN contributor attributed President Biden calling Trump supporters "garbage" to the fact that he has a stutter.
"As somebody who had a stutter growing up, it's very obvious to me that there was an apostrophe after 'supporter's," film exec Franklin Leonard said.
"He was referring to the garbage spewed by supporters, not simply the supporters themselves," the Black List founder added.
Conservative analyst Scott Jennings quickly fired back at Leonard's claim.
"I don't accept your framing of it, personally. I do believe that he, Harris, the Democratic Party and most of her campaign do believe that half the country is garbage," Jennings said.
"The've also said people who go to Trump rallies are Nazis," he added. "It's pretty apparent the disdain that they hold half the country in."
The panel swiftly erupted at Jennings' remarks, with multiple contributors talking over each other.
"You just don't get to say that," "NewsNight" host Abby Phillip said.

Trump reacts to Biden’s ‘garbage’ comment during Pennsylvania rally
By Victor Nava and Carson Swick
ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Former President Donald Trump called it “terrible” on Tuesday that President Biden referred to his supporters as “garbage.”
Trump, 78, commented on Biden’s remark after being informed about it by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) while he was still on stage at a Pennsylvania rally.
“He’s talking about everyday Americans who love their country and want to dream big again and support you, Mr. President,” Rubio said. “And I hope [the Harris] campaign is about to apologize for what Joe Biden just said.”
“We are not garbage. We are patriots. We love America. Thank you for running,” Rubio told Trump.
“So, you have to remember Hillary [Clinton] – she said ‘deplorable’ and then she said ‘irredeemable’ … ‘garbage’ I think is worse,” Trump added.
“Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community,” Biden said Tuesday, according to an NBC reporter. “Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage.”
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

JD Vance slams Biden for calling Trump supporters ‘garbage’
By Patrick Reilly
JD Vance slammed President Biden for calling Donald Trump supporters “garbage” — saying the commander-in-chief and his vice president, Kamala Harris, “ought to be ashamed of themselves.”
Trump’s running mate snapped back soon after Biden made his shocking, widely condemned comment during a campaign call at the White House Tuesday.
“A mother mourning her son who died of a fentanyl overdose is not garbage,” Vance wrote in a now-viral retort seen more than 2.4 million times by Wednesday morning.

Biden brands Trump supporters ‘garbage’ — sparking fury among Republicans — as White House tries to cover for him
By Ryan King
President Biden branded supporters of Donald Trump “garbage” on Tuesday — at the same time as his vice president and would-be successor Kamala Harris tried to pitch herself and the Democratic Party as unifiers in a truth-challenged closing appeal to voters.
The 81-year-old lame-duck president — who has largely been sidelined from campaigning for Harris — delivered the potentially campaign-altering insult as he railed against “Kill Tony” podcast host Tony Hinchcliffe’s bit during Trump’s Sunday night rally, during which the comedian called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”
“Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community,” Biden said during a campaign call at the White House Tuesday first reported by NBC. “Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage.”
