Beyond Paradise has released first-look images for the highly anticipated third series, revealing a fantastic lineup of guest stars, including Outnumbered’s Hugh Dennis and Men Behaving Badly’s Caroline Quentin.
Hugh will appear as local councillor Arthur Donelan, while Kevin McNally, who starred in Pirates of the Caribbean as Joshamee Gibbs and Caroline Quentin will compete as farming rivals George Ellis and Lotty Lewes.
The images also introduce Rosie, who arrives into Humphrey and Martha’s life as their newest foster placement.
Familiar faces DI Humphrey Goodman, Martha Lloyd, DS Esther Williams, PC Kelby Hartford), and Margo Martins, will also all be back, alongside the impressive guest cast.
The new season promises plenty of intrigue, including a body found in a river, a mysterious chocolate box poisoning, a long-standing farming feud, and even a spiking incident at sea.
Meanwhile, Martha and Humphrey navigate the challenges of foster parenting, and personal drama shakes up the lives of other beloved characters.
Last December, star Kris Marshall revealed he and the team had already filmed the Christmas Special for 2025, weeks before the 2024 episode had even been aired.
Kris, 51, first made his debut as DI Humphrey Goodman in Death In Paradise in 2014.
After he departed the series in 2017, he returned to the franchise last year to reprise the role in Beyond Paradise in 2023.
The drama is set to return to BBC, but he told Virgin Radio that production for next year’s Christmas special has already been completed.
Speaking on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with The National Lottery, he said: “We’ve actually just finished filming Christmas 2025. So I’m actually one Christmas ahead.
“[We finished] literally last Friday, last week.”
Chris couldn’t help but ask: “You’ve been guaranteed a third series. Have you filmed that as well?”
To which the actor confidently replied: “Filmed that as well… I may have dropped a spoiler that I’m not supposed to.”
Adding: “There are murders in series three. There’s another spoiler!”
As the UK’s most-watched new drama of 2023, Beyond Paradise has captivated audiences, with its most recent series drawing nearly 7 million viewers.
Beyond Paradise season three will be coming soon to BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
