VEGAS MUSIC ROUNDUP: Bruno Mars Adds NYE, WWWY Sideshows Announced, Ludacris F1 Prices
Bruno Mars will ring in his fourth New Year at the Dolby Live at Park MGM, where the pop superstar has had a residency since the resort, formerly known as the Monte Carlo, rebranded in 2016.

Mars, who resumes the residency on Aug. 28, has added Dec. 18, 20, 21, 27, 30 and 31 to its schedule. Tickets for the new shows will go on sale Friday, Aug. 16, at ticketmaster.com.
When We Were Sidelined
Sideshows across Las Vegas were announced on Tuesday for the upcoming When We Were Young Festival, to be headlined by My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and 50 other emo/punk acts on Oct. 19 and 20 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
The sideshows became a tradition after opening day of the very first When We Were Young in 2022 had to be canceled due to high winds, and many of the bands decided to perform elsewhere, in shows that were for free to anyone holding tickets to the canceled festival opener.
This year’s sideshows are as follows:
Thursday, Oct. 17
A Day To Remember at the BleauLive Theater at the Fontainebleau
Cobra Starship and 3OH!3 with Millionaires at the Brooklyn Bowl
Friday, Oct. 18
Neck Deep with The Home Team and Super American at AREA15
Simple Plan and Boys Like Girls with Madina Lake at the Brooklyn Bowl
The Used and Taking Back Sunday with S. Dunes and Taylor Acorn at the BleauLive.
Artist fans and When We Were Young Festival ticketholders will have access to a sideshow presale beginning 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14. Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and venue customers will also receive access to a presale beginning 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15.
Tickets will then go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16 here.
Ludacris Ticket Prices
Ludacris, Alesso and OneRepublic will be among the headliners for this year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. They will perform at the Sphere Stage in the T-Mobile Zone underneath the world’s largest spherical venue.
OneRepublic will headline on Thursday and Alesso on Friday, leaving Saturday, race night, all to Ludacris.
Unfortunately, only fans wealthy enough to afford a “ticketed experience” in the T-Mobile Zone grandstand can access the shows. Those three-day seats can still be yours for only $2,366.50 each. But hey, they include “free” food, water, and soft drinks!
Machine Gun Kelly Sucks at Blackjack
What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in your bank account. Machine Gun Kelly found this out on Aug. 8, as he announced a few hours later, while performing with Jelly Roll during the opening set for country star Morgan Wallen at Allegiant Stadium.
“I lost $50,000 on the blackjack table tonight,” Kelly told the crowd of 65,000. “I need you all to go stream ‘Lonely Road’ and make that money back.”
