Dancing With The Stars premiered on ABC twenty years ago. Soap star Kelly Monaco won the first season in 2005. Season 34 kicks off in September. Only four celebrities have been confirmed so far. Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Whitney Leavitt and Jennifer Affleck will compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.
The new season premieres on Tuesday, September 16. With the premiere a little over a month away, fans are getting antsy waiting for the complete cast list and their pro partners. Two of the show’s most popular dancers teased on social media that they will return for Season 34. Keep reading to find out why fans are disappointed in the news.
Dancing With The Stars Pro Drops Hint About Season 34 Return
Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy were among the pro dancers on Season 33. Val was paired with Real Housewives star Phaedra Parks. She didn’t last long in the competition and was sent home in Week 5. Jenna was partnered with popular Bachelor Joey Graziadei. He won the season, giving Jenna her second win. She previously won Season 26 with Adam Rippon.

Val and Jenna are married in real life. Jenna shared snapshots on Instagram that many fans took as hints they’re both returning for Season 34. She shared a photo of them in a dance rehearsal space with the caption, “preppinggggg.”
In another photo, she wrote that she had meetings that day. Some fans took that to mean that Val and Jenna were meeting with ABC about the upcoming Dancing With The Stars season.
Another Season 33 pro, Daniella Karagach, posted on social media at the same time that she was also in “meetingsss.”

Fans Frustrated With Stale Lineup
Jenna Johnson, Val Chmerkovskiy, and Daniella Karagach were all in meetings and dance practice around the same time. It seems many of the Dancing With The Stars pros attended a dance workshop that wasn’t related to the show.
But fans still reacted negatively over the speculation that Jenna, Val, and Daniella are returning for Season 34. While the three are popular, viewers want to see fresh faces on the dance floor.
