Since 2023, Pearce has become the general manager of WWE RAW, while Aldis has taken on the role for WWE SmackDown. Both men are trying to outdo each other with their shows. Last month, Adam Pearce addressed whether he would face Nick Aldis in a WWE matchup.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Pearce acknowledged the potential for a storyline involving him and Aldis since they are both former NWA World Heavyweight Champions and current general managers of RAW and SmackDown. He noted that while there is interest in the matchup, he is willing to get involved if necessary. However, he also threw shade at Aldis, suggesting he doesn’t want that.

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce recently addressed a fan’s question about the possibility of returning to the ring to face SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. He tweeted that he wouldn’t actively seek such a match but paused before revealing whether he might consider returning.
In response to Pearce’s teasing about a potential matchup, Nick Aldis shared a gym photo on X (formerly Twitter), acknowledging Pearce’s comments. He hinted at the possibility of stepping into the ring together.
