What Rachel Leviss Should Do Next After Ending Her Podcast

Rachel Leviss remains a persona non grata on her former Vanderpump Rules series. She f*cked around and found out, but literally, proving that affairs are never a solid idea, my friends. Once her life imploded on national television, Rachel checked herself into a mental health facility, where she learned all about her ways, including how to speak up for herself amidst her harem of haters. These realizations saw a podcast emerging, aptly titled Rachel Goes Rogue. But now, her podcast is dead, so what should Rachel do next? After taking several beats to ensure that she is mentally ready, these are our suggestions.
Rest in peace, Rachel Goes Rogue. And hopefully, the entire Scandoval storyline.
Rachel Leviss could retire from the spotlight
We last saw Rachel on VPR during Part 3 of the Season 10 Reunion. In a special one-on-one showing, Rachel sat down with a producer, hoping to explain her side of things regarding her affair with Tom Sandoval. In her sit-down, we learned many shocking things, like how she slept with this man in his house while his girlfriend was away for a funeral. It was a lot.
Following this broadcast, Rachel entered into a treatment facility. Once out, she began opening up via her new podcast. But, as Rachel only spoke about the Scandoval of it all, her podcast quickly started to wane. Cue Rachel, understandably shutting the entire mess down.
Rachel’s downfall is a huge ordeal. Yes, she brought this on herself. However, since she continues to address the Pump Rules series and her role played within, she is continually rebirthing the viewer’s heated comments. Therefore, Rachel should consider running away from the bright lights to find new patterns and ways of being, all while living her days completely off-air.
Whenever Rachel needs a little mood boost, she can return to modeling. Yes, modeling is still a public-facing career, but it’s filled with far fewer scandals (to the naked eye) than a reality television series. Rachel could walk a catwalk for anyone, and at most, all she’ll ever have to deal with are her images being taken and shared online, with only a quick, drama-free explainer as the captain. In these silent, non-headline-producing times, people might believe that Rachel has finally moved on, allowing her former narratives a shot at fading away.
Rachel Leviss could also go on a competition show like The Traitors
Rachel might wake up one day desiring to dip her toes back into filming. If so, I recommend she do this in a fresh place via a different series. She needs new costars who, other than seeing it on their feeds, did not walk through her affair storyline with her in real time. A good fit for Rachel might be The Traitors, a newer streaming series on Peacock.
If you have never seen this series, let me fill you in. Random traitors, collected across various forms of media, live together in a castle. “Murders” then occur, casting out exiled players one by one. The winner receives a fat cash prize at the end, and the money would be nice for Rachel’s wallet.
Seeing as Rachel behaved like a traitor on VPR, we know that this casting decision would not be a hard sell. Rachel could finally thrive in this environment, as her costars have also received villain edits within their respective series. Yet, if Rachel is offered a spot as a Faithful (meaning a non-traitor), she might even get a shot at a redemption arch. The Traitors, therefore, could be Rachel’s perfect next step.
From here, there are other reality competition series to consider, each offering Rachel the same benefits as The Traitors. House of Villians is the first one that springs to my mind. However, Rachel likely hopes to rebrand her image, and this series offers fewer opportunities. Unlike The Traitors, zero Faithfuls exist, which might make this series a harder sell for Rachel in her post-podcasting days.
Rachel Leviss could swallow her pride and ask for a Bravo comeback

This last option is the least likely to happen. But I have never been known for my down-to-earth thought processes, so here I am, sitting in my wild what-ifs behind my keyboard. Hear me out, though. More than a year has passed since Rachel fell from grace, but if she could swallow her pride and phone up her former bosses, they might let Rachel regain her barstool on Bravo.
Going from raging enemies to filming partners overnight would be a tough mental ask for Rachel. So, for this option, I would love to see Rachel back on Vanderpump Rules again ONLY if she felt emotionally capable. This series would then need to bring on one of her friends. She’d need filming partners, and as the other females in this cast remain against her, this leaves her with nada should she return.
Although, Lala Kent might fold. And Rachel would let her.
Who am I kidding? Tom Schwartz would also likely welcome Rachel into his scenes. But outside of these two, Rachel would need a buddy.
If this concept is too daunting, other series exist on Bravo, such as The Valley. But if Scheana Shay’s farmhouse gets filmed for Season 2 of this messy VPR Spin-off, Rachel might say nope. In that case, Rachel would fare just as well on her former series.
Go big or go home, am I right? Probably not. But again, here we are, living in a land where Rachel’s next steps can look like anything she wants. Whatever she decides, we wish her well.
Mostly.
Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
