Jersey City Man Beaten To Death, Prosecutors Say
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 35-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Jersey City resident on Friday.Scott Bradley of jersey City was charged in the killing of Joey Richburg, 56, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. Neptune and Garfield avenues, Jersey City.Police were were called to help an injured person around 9 a.m. in the area of Neptune and Garfield avenues and found Joey Richburg, 56, unresponsive, authorities said. Richburg was taken to Jersey City Medical Center and pronounced dead at 9:42 a.m., prosecutors said.The medical examiner found that he died from blunt force injuries to his head and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
