Meet Rihanna’s second son! adorable family photoshoot with firstborn RZA and beau A$AP Rocky
Rihanna shared the first glimpse of her newborn second son, Riot Rose, in an adorable family photoshoot on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old singer, who gave birth to her second son with her partner A$AP Rocky, 34, on August 1, appeared radiant as she held Riot in a heartwarming home photoshoot alongside their firstborn, RZA, who is 16 months old.
Little Riot was dressed in a pink jumpsuit and boots, and both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky showered him with attention. Meanwhile, RZA rode on his father’s shoulders during the photoshoot.
In the photoshoot, the “Umbrella” singer looked stunning in a denim hooded jacket paired with navy blue pantaleggings. A$AP Rocky, on the other hand, wore a white tank top and Bottega Veneta printed leather jeans, later adding a green plaid coat to his outfit.
The family was captured during their first public outing since the birth, with both parents and their two sons participating in the heartwarming photoshoot.
Rihanna and the rapper welcomed their first son, RZA Athelston Mayers, in May 2022. The superstar announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl performance in February of the same year.
Riot was born at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41 a.m., according to the birth certificate obtained by The Blast. Fans on X, formerly Twitter, expressed excitement and praise for the name, noting its uniqueness and meaningful connection to Rihanna and Rocky’s initials.
Last month, it was reported that the singer now considers her family to be “complete.” According to People magazine, it seems that Rihanna and her rapper partner have no plans for additional children. A source conveyed that “Rihanna feels her family is now complete,” adding that this is something she has always desired.
In a March interview with British Vogue, the Barbados-born superstar discussed motherhood, highlighting how it unlocks a new dimension in life and deepens respect for parents. She described the transformative nature of having a child, saying it’s legendary and alters everything. Rihanna noted that life before motherhood, though captured in photos, no longer holds the same significance because the experience of having a child is all-encompassing.
