If you head over to Max (previously known as HBO Max), you will not find the series there. The Crowded Room will be streaming on Apple TV+ starting Friday, June 9, 2023. That is because the television production is an Apple Original, which means it will stream exclusively on the platform.

The first three episodes will be released on premiere day. Then going forward, one new installment will be released weekly on the streaming service every Friday. The finale is set for Friday, July 28, 2023. The show received a 10-episode order from Apple TV+.

Created by Akiva Goldsman, the series is centered around Danny Sullivan (Holland), a man who’s arrested following a shooting in 1979 New York City, per the synopsis. The story is told through a series of interviews between Danny and interrogator Rya Goodwin (Seyfried). We learn about his life and “mysterious past,” as well as the event that lead him to the incident.

The Crowded Room will be released Friday, June 9, 2023 with the first three episodes on Apple TV+.
