I’m a mum-of-eight – my grab-and-go breakfasts are a huge hit and save us so much time before school in the morning
GETTING kids ready for school can be time-consuming, but one mum-of-eight has revealed her clever breakfast hack.
Heather Bell uploaded a video showing her “grab and go” breakfasts, which are a huge hit in her household.

On her @justthebells10, she explained: “My children are always in a hurry to get to school on time, here us a simple & fast on the go breakfast idea.
“I first made a parfait, it’s just yoghurt, then different kinds of fruit, I did blueberries, strawberries and apples.
“Then I combined Cool Whip with Jello Cheesecake Instant Pudding – mix that up and then put that on.
“Then I topped it with more fruit and chia seeds.
“Put the lid on that and wrapped it with rubber bands and attached spoons.”
And it wasn’t the only thing she made her bumper brood, as Heather also explained she had created overnight oats too.
She explained: “It’s just oatmeal, chia seeds, cinnamon, I put walnuts in a couple of them, then yoghurt, milk, maple syrup, bananas.
“I mix those together, put the lids on them, attach spoons, so now if my kids are in a hurry in the morning, they can just grab and go.”
Her clip has racked up over 38,000 likes, and people praised her easy idea.
One said: “Love this idea! Yummy! You are an amazing mom.”
Another added: “Cereal bars will do my kids just fine.”
Heather regularly shares details of her bumper brood online, and offers a glimpse into their hectic family life.
In one clip, she revealed that she and her husband met 28 years ago as she shared a snap of them in their younger days.
“The man I met 28 years ago when we were just kids,” she wrote on the screen.
She then flashed to a series of pictures featuring their family-of-ten now, writing: “The doctors said we would never be able to have children of our own.
“But we not only had a son, but we adopted 7 other children.”
In a separate video, Heather revealed that she and her husband spent many years trying to fall pregnant, and when they couldn’t they decided to adopt their first baby.
But after eight years of trying, and having already adopted five kids, they fell pregnant with a biological son, Gideon.
They then adopted another two children, bringing the total to six boys and two girls.
The fun-loving family now have almost 2.8million followers on the platform.
