DWTS judge Derek Hough reveals major ‘plot twist’ about Halloween show that will take him back to the dance floor
DANCING with the Stars judge Derek Hough has revealed a major plot twist about the upcoming Halloween show.
The six-time Mirrorball Trophy winner teased that the Halloween-themed episode might take him back to the competition’s dance floor.

Derek, 38, posted an edited photo of himself dancing with fellow DWTS judge, Bruno Tonioli, 67.
The photoshopped pic showed the Emmy Award-winning choreographer dressed in an all-red outfit with his hair teased up and back as he dipped his Italian-born partner.
Bruno sported a leather ensemble as he held out his arm for the daring maneuver.
Derek captioned the post: “Plot twist. @brunotonioliofficial and I are actually competing this week for Halloween @dancingwiththestars.”
In the comment section, the Footloose: The Musical star cheekily added: “Bruno wearing his typical Sunday outfit.”
One fan responded: “Make it happen.”
“10s all around!!” commented another.
A third commenter liked the idea of a judges’ dance and wrote: “That’d be fantastic! In general, it’d be fun if each judge would perform a dance towards the end of each season.”

Last week, Derek made a savage comment backstage about his sister Julianne Hough, 35, and had the live audience in stitches with his dig.
The Nashville actor was holding the camera and spoke to her followers while the pair were filming for DWTS, where they work together.
Derek was facing the camera, with Julianne behind him.
He said: “Jules, why are you wearing a bedsheet tonight?”
Julianne walked toward the camera and leaned over Derek’s shoulder.
The former dancer was wearing a long loose-fitted white dress.
The host appeared to be unimpressed and looked at Derek before saying: “You have a booger up your nose.”
Derek looked confused, zoomed the camera into his face and said: “Do I have a burger up my nose?
“A burger? I said a burger.”
Fans watching the show live could be heard laughing around them.
Julianne then held up her dress and said: “This is not a bedsheet, this is Valentino.”
ODD ACCESSORY
Dancing with the Stars fans noticed a strange detail about Derek’s appearance in a video shared by his sister Julianne while backstage on the show.
Julianne and Derek took to Instagram to share a combination post as they prepared for this week’s episode.
The brother-sister duo started things off in their normal rehearsal wear – the actress in a black sundress and white heels and her sibling in khaki slacks, a blue button-down, white sneakers, and a white tank top underneath.
The pair held hands as they kick-ball-changed their way down the sidewalk outside of the Dancing With The Stars set.
Julianne and Derek twirled right past a large blue post until they disappeared from the camera, only to reappear on stage of the ABC show.
In the seamless transition, the Houghs were magically dressed in their outfits for the evening while the song Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo played from Cinderella.
The Safe Haven star wore a floor-length pink gown with flower ruffles around the bust.
She paired the look with long pink silk gloves and a sparkly tiara to top it all off.
Julianne went from makeup-free in the first clip to a full glam look in the second, her hair styled half up and half down.
Meanwhile, Derek tidied up in a turquoise suit with a matching bit of fabric hung over his left arm to use in the routine.
He and his sister posed, looking from left to right as they pretended to be shocked at their fancy transformation.
Although the male performer looked stage-ready in his colorful suit, not all fans were pleased with the outfit.

Some noticed Derek’s massive gemstone broach on his left lapel, which has been a staple lately during his routines.
“WHAT is that Broach that Derek always wears???” one asked, getting nearly 10 likes in agreement.
“I feel like you’ve worn that before,” a second agreed.
“So every suit he has a brooch,” a third laughed.
“Derek you need to get a new dresser. The sash on top of the granny broach is tooooo much. You adjusted sash every time you move. Lije a waiter with a towel on his arm. Love you but come on!” a fourth trolled.

The sibling reunion came as Julianne has been showing off her fit figure on social media in recent weeks.
