‘AGT All-Stars’: Here’s what Simon Cowell said about group golden buzzer winner

The group golden buzzer was awarded on Monday night’s episode of “America’s Got Talent.”
The latest episode continued with the next batch of “winners, finalists, fan favorites and viral sensations from previous seasons of America’s Got Talent and Got Talent franchises around the world,” NBC wrote.
The returning contestants and past winners took the stage again on this version of the show, but this time to compete for the “All-Star” title.
The competition’s fifth week of preliminary auditions welcomed singer Tom Ball who made it to the finals on season 15 of “Britain’s Got Talent.”
For his return, Ball sang “The Sound of Silence” alongside a string quartet, earning him the group golden buzzer. The buzzer is awarded only once this season and is only awarded when all three judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and host Terry Crews unanimously decide on the recipient.

His emotive performance got all three judges out of their chairs and standing for applause.
“I’m actually angry about something,” Cowell joked. “I wish this was the first time I ever heard Tom.”
Adding to the praise, Cowell said “this is the best performance I’ve seen all series” and if Ball performed the same song during his original season, he would’ve won that year.
After the judges final thoughts, the live audience began chanting “golden buzzer” rededately. Then, Crews joined the three judges hand-in-hand to hit the group golden buzzer button.
Ball will be sent straight through to the finale episode, where he will compete against other superfan voted and golden buzzer winner “All-Stars.”
